Four Players
My life changed when I found myself finishing and sharing original songs for the first time.   In the winter of 2008-09, three incredible humans allowed me to share this new expression with them, and they soon wrote the instrumental parts to my songs, giving them wings via what came to be know as the band Four Players.

In less than two years we finished two albums and toured up and down the west coast.   I grew and changed an incredible amount in that short time--I am forever indebted to John Allis, Nathan Oglesby, and Shea Isely.
(love you forever, boyz)

Sometimes I rap. . .

^ My soul bro Sir KN8 (aka Nathan Oglesby)--philosophic rapper, professor of Latin and Greek, zen spirit, and language painter-- is a genius working on multivarious planes.   I urge you to check out his creations via his own bandcamp Sir KN8.

He graciously has featured me--moniker Kunk--on a couple tracks:
--Get That Validation_  from 2015's Quantum Electro Flavor Dynamics
--Title track of vintage 2010's Raw Savory Knavery
^click that blue text for direct links to those sweet tracks^

And Stay Tuned!
I am currently working on a couple dozen songs--some quite old and some quite new--for a couple of albums hopefully anticipating seeing the light sometime in 2017.

I plan on starting a Patreon platform later this year--a fabulous "crowd-funding" resource for connecting fans and artists.  Patreon helps fans to become sustainable patrons, and enables artists to become sustainable creators-- helping artists to do what all parties value--with consumerism taking a backseat.   I see Patreon highlighting the value of process rather than material product--process being the key not only to a nurturing art, but to each and every one of our life journeys.    If you'd like to support me in my journey of making music and traveling, sharing song and art wherever I wander--and you don't want to wait until I've organized a patreon campaign--then please, consider donating below!
much gratitude and love,
k kunkel   xoxo
